Spring Break Madness Big Fish Style!!

This last week we were on spring break from school.  It was awesome to get get one whole week off school but even better to fish for a straight week.  We went to Roosevelt in hopes of finding the fish on there bed and catching some good fish on drop shots or sinkos.  The fishing was a little tough when we first got there, we had to figure out there patterns.  Once we did this it got real good, real fast.  We caught lots of fish and three real good fish.  With out a scale in the boat we have no idea of their exact weights but the last big fish had to pushing to 10 lb mark if not a little bigger.  Not all of our big fish did we get on video due to leaving the camera back at camp or a dead battery once but we did get enough to make a decent show.  The fish really moved shallow on Wednesday but were mainly smaller males up making the bed so this weekend ought to be awesome with the full moon on Friday.  We will be back down for the Easter weekend in hopes of some more great fish.  Here are a couple of the larger fish we caught and the video to follow.  ENJOY! It was really hard letting this monster go and not putting him on the wall.  The worst part was we did not have a scale or any way to pull measurments of this awesome fish.  So we took pictures and let him go, man was that hard to do!!
